It seems that the Mozilla team is ready to get out from its two main applications (Firefox and Thunderbird) to start a new project called Weave. It is a software to store a variety of infos such: bookmarks, passwords, history, preferences and customizations, and sync and fecth them by using a Firefox account. In this way Firefox will be a kind of platform to get a lot of personal data apart from surfing the web. Download and read more here.
