WordPress 2.4 almost here

wordpress.jpgThe WordPress 2.4 release is scheduled for January 24, 2008 and it is going to be another milestone for this wonderful CMS. Its new features include:

 

 

  • Admin redesign
  • Widget-based dashboard
  • You should be able to have any number of any widget
  • Undo for comment editing
  • Search for both posts and pages

I am just wondering when they will implement the useful and much requested Easy Updating plugin that actually is the first thing most people would love to have since the WordPress releases are (luckily for us) so many. By the way, I have already spoken about a very good Automatic upgrade plugin.
