If you want to run your nice Asus Eee at a higher resultion namely 960×576 and 1280×976, without installing XP and using any VMware, here is a little script that can change your Eee experience forever! Be aware, this script is far from being perfect. In fact it is reported to have two flaws:

  1. Ctrl-Alt-T opens a terminal in the master X session, rather than the one being watched. If launched from a menu, it doesn’t render properly
  2. krdc, despite having options to start fullscreen and scaled, seems to ignore the options.
