This time it is the turn of the mini-pcs. A couple of months ago I spoke about one of the first (if not the only one) mini-pc available on the market and whose name was Artigo. Since the latest trend is to copy from each other, now even Everex, which is famous for its Cloudbook has created a mini-pc whose name is gPC mini desktop. Nothing new or extraordinary to tell you the truth, but it is worth being reviewed since it is the second machine of this new generation (of course I expect to see more of them in the wild, since I am pretty sure building nano-pc will soon become the new trend after ultraportable). So, this little baby sports a 1.83GHz T2130 processor, 120GB hard drive, 512MB DDR2 RAM,a DVD writer, a Intel’s GMA950 graphic media accelerator, gigabit Ethernet, DVI / S-Video outs, FireWire, four USB 2.0 ports, a 4-in-1 multicard reader. The release date is set by the 1st of March but no word about its price yet (let’s hope that it will be as small as its size at least!)
