So, while gadgets are getting smaller and smaller their capacity is getting bigger and bigger! In fact, Buffalo has manged to stuff 500Gb of memory into a small USB external hard disk! This new memory storage called 500GB MiniStation TurboUSB offers “30-percent faster transfer rates than most USB hard drives” and it is shock resistant, thief resistant and it comes with Memeo’s AutoBackup to backup whatever you want in a breeze. I have to confess that, while design is not important when it comes to buy a toy like this, it is also true it is almost everything nowadays. I want to be straight, I don’t like it at all. It is too plain, too regular and without fantasy. I am more than sure that it will do its job in a wonderful way but… The eye wants its share!
