Asus Eee Desktop edition (Asus Ebox)

After the huge success of the cheap Asus Eee laptop, the Taiwan company has decided to make a desktop version of it. Its name will be Asus Ebox and will be distinguished by its cheap price and its  features. As a matter of fact Ebox will feature:

  • Atom-based chip.
  • 2GB of RAM as standard.
  • 160GB hard drive.
  • Linux operating system.

Asus Ebox should be officially unveiled June 3 at Computex in Taiwan and will be available around the third quarter of this year. Its price is set around $300 – $400. Stay tuned for more infos.
