After some months’s waiting, finally Firefox 3 is available for you to download. This new Firefox version promises to be the fastest browser of ever, thanks to its new features and its brand new architecture which lets you download web pages three times faster than the previous Firefox versions. Here is a list of the most important features:

• Click on the website’s icon to learn more about the website you are visiting. Among the other things you will now be able to know if a website is secure, if your connection is protected from eavesdropping, if the site uses Extended Validation (EV) SSL certificates.
• Now Firefox warns if the site you are browsing is infected by viruses, spywares, malware etc.
• Are you afraid the website you visiting may cheat you? Now Firefox 3 contains the new  Web Forgery Protection page. Stop fake sites right away!
• If you like adding to Firefox tons of add-ons, now you won’t have to check them to see if there are new versions available. Firefox will do it for you!
• Firefox 3  can communicate with your antivirus to warn it if you are downloading any executables in order to scan it.
• More features to play with: new download manager, new full page zoom, optimized open in tabs behavior, better text selection, integration with Mac and Linux etc

If you used Google Toolbar for Firefox, one of the first things Firefox 3 did, was to disable it since even the latest version namely  3.0.20070525L is not compatible with it anymore.
