microsoftThere are not a lot of Easter eggs in Windows Vista to play with. If you want to see one of them, click here. The Easter egg I am about to show you is very beautiful indeed and can be found on all of Windows Vista editions. Basically, it gives your desktop some nice sparkles and twinkles belonging to Windows Vista’s screen savers. In fact it will set the beautiful Windows Aero screen savers as desktop background. Here is the free trick to use it:

  1. Click Start.
  2. Click All Programs - Accessories - Command Prompt.
  3. In the Command Prompt change the directory %systemdrive%\Windows\System32 folder with the following command: cd %systemdrive%\Windows\System32
  4. Now type these command to activate the Easter eggs. (each command equals to different tricks)
  1. ribbons.scr /p65552
  2. aurora.scr /p65552
  3. bubbles.scr /p65552
  4. mystify.scr /p65552

Keep in mind that this Easter egg blocks the access to your desktop. To stop it press Alt+F4 hotkey while the screen saver is in  full screen mode, or end the .scr process in the Task Manager which can be opened by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del keys and selecting “Start Task Manager”
