The ultraportable war has started a long time ago and a lot of companies, which till some months ago were completely unknown to most people, have started producing their cheap laptops. Today, it is the turn of 3K Computers to release its new ultraportable laptop called RazorBook 400 mini-notebook PC. The little baby, which, to my amazement, is different from Asus Eee’s design sports the following features:

  • It runs on a Windows-friendly Linux Operating System
  • 7-inch WVGA (800×480 resolution) widescreen active matrix LCD TFT display.
  • 400Mhz CPU.
  • 512 of RAM (DDR2).
  • 4GB SSD (solid state drive).
  • Wireless 802.11b/g.
  • 3 USB ports.
  • It includes the following freeware software: open source Office Suite includes AbiWord – Opens Microsoft® Word Files, GNUMeric – Opens Microsoft® Excel Files, an E-mail Client, and a PDF Reader.

The new RazorBook 400 Mini-Notebook PC is already available for you to buy. Its price is set at $299. If you want to buy it, or if you want to know more, click here.
