firefoxNo time to lose? Always in a hurry? Want to spare yourself from typing the whole URL of a website? If so, then these little tricks are what you have been looking for a long time. As a matter of fact, thanks to a simple combination of two buttons on your keyboard, you will be able to save time and a lot of keystrokes! Modern web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Firefox have, among their  features, a kind of auto-completion which is able to add the www. and the .com part of the URL. Let’s see an example:

  1. Let’s say that you want to  visit Web Talk (what a chance!).
  2. In the address bar of your browser type: tlk
  3. Now press CTRL+ENTER and the browser will add www. and .com before and after tlk, respectively.
  4. Here you can find other combinations:
  5. Ctrl + Enter WebAddress *.com address
Shift + Enter WebAddress  *.net address
Ctrl + Shift + Enter WebAddress  *.org address
