One of the most thrilling features in Google Chrome is its new Smart bar aka Omnibox. This bar is the classic address bar available in all browsers, but with a really smart feature. It can guess what you are typing and what you are looking for. As a matter of fact, as soon as you start typing a web address, a list of websites will appear. Basically Chrome will try to guess what you are looking for, showing the first 4 addresses which look like to what you are writing. But what if you want Omnibox to show more than 4 results? Here is the trick to apply:
- Right-click on the Google Chrome icon ( yes, the one on your desktop).
- Click the shortcut tab.
- Add this code to the end of the Target line (don’t forget to put a space between): -omnibox-popup-count=10
