Sotec has just unveiled its new, but not so original, ultraportable DC 101. The design of DC 101 is simple and slim but, alas, reminds me of the well-known Asus Eee, so no kudos for Sotec. This ultraportable sports:

• 10.1-Inch LCD LED back lighted wide screen with a resolution 1024×600.
• Intel Atom N270 CPU (1.60GHz).
• 1GB of RAM.
• 120GB of HDD (serial ATA A.5Gb/s, 5,400rpm).
• Web-camera, 3 USB, wi-fi, MMC /SD slot etc.
• Windows XP SP3.

It should be availabe next month, but there is no news about its price. Anyway I expect it to be around $400-$500.
