Last year I spoke about the upcoming Gphone embedding the first Google operating system for mobiles namely Android. Now, after so many months of rumors, T-Mobile has just unveiled the first “Google Phone” with Android OS.  Despite the fact that T-Mobile was supposed to make a public announcement of this new phone (and it did indeed on the 23th of this month) , in the Internet there were already some many leaked infos, specs and videos that making something as pretentious as a press release was completely ridiculous. Here are the most beautiful pictures of Android as well as it most important features… and a video!

The T-mobile phone aka T-Mobile G1 sports:

  • Display–65K color screen, HVGA (480×320).
  • Expandable up to 8 gig memory.
  • Standby Time–130 hours / Talk Time–5 hours.
  • Size–4.6 x 2.16 x 0.63 inches.
  • GPS antenna.
  • Touchscreen.
  • Qwerty keyboard.
  • 3G technology.

Google mobile operating system aka Android sports:

  • Maps (including satellite, traffic and street views).
  • Gmail
  • YouTube
  • Calendar
  • Google Talk
