burner

A few months ago I wrote about a nice freeware software called Burn Blue-Ray which lets you burn everything from dvd to blue-ray…for free. Today I want to talk about another freeware burner. Its name is BurnAware Free and despite the fact that is quite light (just 7.0 Mb) it is stuffed with a lot of features. It burns cd, dvd, Blue-Ray and hd-dvd. Its interface is quite easy, minimalist and intuitive and doesn’t confuse the average user with too many options like other famous software do. Here are its other features:

  • Create data and multisession CD/DVD/Blu-ray Discs.
  • Burn boot disc images.
  • Create DVDs-Video.
  • Supports all current hardware interfaces (IDE/SCSI/USB/1394/SATA).
  • On-the-fly writing for all image types (no staging to hard drive first).
  • Auto-verification of written files.
  • Multilingual.
  • Supports Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista (32 and 64 Bit), no drivers required.
  • Highly advised to those users who don’t want to spend too much time to read instructions or understand how it works

If you want to download it, click here.
