firefoxBy default, Firefox resizes larges images and pictures to fit them inside its window. This can be quite annoying, above all if you are browsing high quality pictures and you need to see them “as-they-are”, in their original size to grab their details better. Here is a little trick to prevent Firefox from thumbnailing your pics.

  1. Type about:config in the Address bar and press Enter.
  2. A message followed by a button saying “I’ll be carefull. I promise!” should appear. Click on it.
  3. Type browser.enable_automatic_image_resizing in the Filter field.
  4. Under the Filter field the preference should appear. Double click on it to set it False.
