micro pcThere are quite a lot of micro-Pc around for you to play with. Anyway, what you see above is something which is not that common to see. Maybe I should call it “really-micro-pc”, because its dimensions speak out pretty clearly and say that this little thing is intended to become the smaller computer ever! Its name is Fit-PC slim and well, it can really fit in your hand’s palm. I think that somebody might even confuse it with a cell-phone? A bug to crush? A cigarette pack? Here is what it sports:

  • Windows XP or Linux (Ubuntu) operating system.
  • 4.3 x 3.9 x 1.2 inches.
  • 256 of RAM.
  • 60 GB HDD.
  • 802.11b/g WiFi.
  • 3 USB ports.

I like it a lot. I like the idea to have something small  to connect to the Internet  without the hassle to have a big computer case full of wires in the house. I am also thinking that it could go along pretty well with one of those foldable keyboards and slim screens. Its price ranges from $220 to $335 depending on how you customized it.

  • fit-PC Slim Barebones (256MB, no WiFi, no HDD) – $220
  • fit-PC Slim Diskless (512MB, WiFi, no HDD) – $245
  • fit-PC Slim Linux (512MB, WiFi, 60GB hard disk with Ubuntu and Gentoo pre-installed) – $295
  • fit-PC Slim XP (512MB, WiFi, 60GB hard disk with Windows XP Home SP3 pre-installed) – $335

Here is the official website just in case you want to read more about the Fit-Pc.
