password cracker

There are a lot of ways to reset and recover your Windows Vista and XP administrator password, so I am not going to write anything new here. Anyway there is a nice utility which, apart from resetting your administrator password, is able to do a variety of other  interesting things. I am talking about PCLoginNow. This nice and light software, as its name suggests, lets you reset Windows administrator password and its security settings instantly. No need to format your operating system anymore. It works for Windows Windows 2008, Vista, XP, 2003, 2000. But PCLoginNow offers you a lot of other interesting features such as:

  • Change accounts policy setting and properties.
  • upgrade a general account to administrator level.
  • Lock or unlock accounts.
  • Support Syskey. This feature was added in Windows NT 4.0 SP3. “It was meant to protect against offline password cracking attacks so that the SAM database would still be secure even if someone had a copy of it. Even thouth the system registry is proctected by Syskey, PCLoginNow can easily bypass this mechanism and reset the Windows passwords.”
