arrowSometimes, after scrolling a blog down to read all of its news, we have to go all the way up by pressing the up-arrow located on the right of our browser. This can be quite annoying above all if the blog is very long. Webmasters are very sensitive to the word “annoying”, since it means loosing readers and visitors. That’s way this little trick comes in handy for those webmasters who don’t want to bother their readers with long pages and homepages and for those readers who lose their temper after pressing the up-arrow for more than 5 seconds.

It is just sufficient to add, in the index.php page located in your theme blog (if you are using WordPress), the code below to add to your home page a small floating arrow at the bottom-right of the screen whose task is to take you to the very top of the page once you reach the bottom.

<a style=”display:scroll;position:fixed;bottom:5px;right:5px;” href=”#” title=”Back to Top”> <img src=”http://img119.imageshack.us/img119/8589/arrowupcx2.gif” /></a>
