A couple of months after the release of Inspiron Mini 9, Dell has just unveiled a new version of this cheap ultraportable namely Dell Inspiron Mini 12. As you may guess the main difference between this new netbook and its predecessor is the screen dimension which, in this version, has been enlarged to reach 12.1 inch. Anyway this is not the only difference. As a matter of fact, the Inspiron Mini 12 has got more powerful features which have nothing to envy to “regular laptops”.
Here is a list of its most important features:
- 12.1-inch WXGA (1280 x 800 pixels) widescreen display.
- 802.11b/g wifi.
- 1.3 megapixel webcam.
- 1GB of RAM.
- Intel Atom processor.
- 60 GB or 80 GB hard drive.
- Ubuntu or Windows XP or Windows Vista Home Basic (!)
Dell Inspiron Mini 12 is expected by late November 2008for a price starting under $600 (for the basic version). If you want to know more, read the official press release here.
