A few days after releasing Vista SP2 pre-beta version, Microsoft has officially released Vista SP2 beta version to beta testers. Since I know that you really can’t wait to get and try it right away, here is what to do to download it. Please keep in mind that this service pack is not stable and it is just intended to beta testers, since it contains bugs which could potentially harm your PC.

Download 6002.16497.rar (alternative download link) and extract to run the 6002.16497.bat file. This is the complete SP2 and you won’t need any hack to install it.

If you don’t manage to get the service pack from the links above, just apply this little hack which will enable your computer to download it through  Windows Update or Microsoft Update.
