If you have a blog it may happen to embed among its pages a nice YouTube video. It may also happen that you want to show just a particular part of it, because the rest is not interesting or it’s not what you want to show to your readers. Whatever the reason here is a simple little trick to force a YouTube video to start from wherever you want.

It is sufficient to add &start=42 to the video code to force it to start after 42 seconds (of course you can specify the number of seconds) from the beginning of the video.
