According to many rumors CTL is ready to go retail with its new 2go ultraportable by January 2009. This ultraportable, which in my opinion is a little too childish as far as its design is concerned, sports features which in many cases out-stand in comparison with the ones belonging to other ultraportable of its same niche. But let’s see together what I am talking about.

• 1.6GHz Atom 270 processor.
• 1GB of RAM.
• 60GB of hard Disk Drive.
• 802.11b/g/n WiFi.
• 6-cell battery.
• Option to choose Ubuntu Linux or WIndows XP.
• 2 USB ports, VGA out, Ethernet, SD card slot,  a mic and headphone jack.
• The screen deserves a special note. As a matter of fact the display is 8.9-inch with 1024 x 600 resolution screen featuring touch screen capabilities. The touch screen responds to both stylus and fingers.
• Accelerometer feature. The screen orientates the screen orientation on the base of how you flip the ultraportable.
• Quick launcher for Windows XP. Access those important applications by using a launcher which embeds preloaded programs such as Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player.

The price is not set yet, but it is said to be around $500 for the Ubuntu version and $550 -$600 for the XP version.
