A few weeks ago I spoke about how to recover passwords and private info from your Google Chrome. Today I want to talk about how to recover all usernames and passwords along with their associated URL from the Internet Explorer password database. All you need is a simple software called IE PassView.

IE PassView  doesn’t need any installation to work (portable application). Just put the application wherever you want on your computer, click on it and start using it right away. The way it works is rather simple and doesn’t need any assistance from the user. As a matter of fact, once run it, IE PassView starts scanning Internet Explorer (by the way, it works on Internet Explorer 7.0, Internet Explorer 8.0 beta version, as well as older versions of Internet Explorer, v4.0 – v6.0) looking for passwords and displays them on its main window. IE PassView can recover three types of passwords namely: AutoComplete Passwords, HTTP Authentication Passwords and FTP Passwords.
