No, I don’t want to surprise and amaze you with spectacular headlines. Here, I am just telling you the simple truth! As a matter of fact, IMOVIO has just unveiled a really, really tiny ultraportable computer especially designed for those people who can’t stay away from the Internet for more that half an hour. Its name is iKit and it is a weird combination between an ultraportable, a pda and a DSi.

Here is a list of its most important features:

  • Linux operating system.
  • Marvell PXA270 312MHz processor.
  • 2.6-inch QVGA display.
  • 64MB of RAM.
  • Support for microSD.
  • 0.3 MP fixed focus camera (Option).
  • Bluetooth 2.0.
  • QWERTY keyboard.
  • WIFI® IEEE 802.11 b/g.
  • Mini-USB 1.1 used for charging, PC data exchange.
  • 1050 mAh, Li-ion.
  • Built-in applications: Web browser Opera Mini 4.1, – JTWI / JSR75 compliant, Email protocols:
    - POP3 / IMAP / SMTP, Support MSN.
  • Support for: MIDI, WAV and MP3, JPG, BMP, GIF and PNG, 3GP, MP4 and AVI format, Maximum size QVGA.

iKit is available for £99 (about $172). No word about its release date. If you want to know more, visit the official website.
