easy migration!

It is not a secret that a lot of users are migrating from PCs to Mac computers. This process, without any doubt, is quite distressing because it involves a lot of drags and drops of files such as files, music, movies, photos, files, and Internet preferences. Luckily for us, Belkin as just released a nice USB cable which changes this annoying procedure to something quite easy and seamless to accomplish.

The new Belkin Switch-to-Mac USB cable lets you move all of your files and Windows applications (compatible with Mac) in a couple of steps. It is just sufficient to plug the USB plugs both to your MAC and your computer  and the  Migration Assistance software will do the rest! Let’s see togheter its most important features:

  • Everything will be transferred by using USB 2.0 speeds.
  • The Migration Assistant will transfer everything smoothly without any intervention on your side. At the end of the process the software will give summary of transferred content.
  • Compatible with Windows XP or Windows Vista.
  • Compatible with Mac OS X v10.4 and v10.5.

The Switch-to-Mac cable cable costs $49,99 and it is already available in the States. It will be released in Canada, Europe, Asia, and Australia starting from February 2009.
