xiao

As you know, here at Web Talk there are not a lot of articles about cameras. Well, I am not into cameras, and despite I have a nice Nikon Coolpix 5500, I don’t treat it with the same “veneration” I do with my cell phone, computer, TomTom Go etc. I just leave my camera in some drawer and I take it out just when I need it, and believe me, it doesn’t happen a lot. So why am I here now? Because, against all expectations I do want to speak about a digital camera. Tomy xiao is one of those gadgets I would like to get my hands on!

As a matter of fact, Tomy xiao apart from being a standard digital camera, sports something quite out-of-order, something extraordinary which brings the old Polaroid’s idea back in fashion. In fact, it sports a nice Built-in Printer(ZINK™ printer). Basically, right after making a pic, if you want, you can print it out right away! Let’s see its most important features:

  • In-built ZINK™ printer which is able to produces borderless, full-color, 2×3″ (5×7,6 cm) prints in less than 60 seconds. The pictures are all water-proof, tear-proof, fade-proof. By the way, the printer doesn’t need any ink but just a special paper (ZINK Paper™).
  • 5.0 megapixels, 4x digital zoom.
  • 2.48″ full color LCD display.
  • 16MB internal memory.
  • Lithium-ion battery.
  • IrSimple/IrDA receiver.
