Today, playing with your PDF files can be really a children’s game. As a matter of fact, there are a lot of utilities which can do a variety of things with your PDF files including creating, editing, recovering, and converting of course. What I am going to talk about in this article is another way to convert this famous file to TIFF, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, TGA, PBM, PPM.
Have you ever wished, while reading a PDF file, to extract that nice picture from it for your own use? Well, now you can do it thanks to a little, simple freeware utility called Some PDF Image Extract. With it you can extract and convert any image embedded into a PDF file to TIFF, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, TGA, PBM, PPM with a couple of simple steps. A nice feature of PDF Image Extract is that you don’t even need Adobe Reader on your computer in order to extract the image. As a matter of fact it is just sufficient to click on Open File or Open Directory buttons to add the PDF files you want to extract the images from. Another feature instead lets you batch all the images contained in a PDF file and extract them all at once, without repeating the same procedure over and over again for each pic! This software is a free nice utility for those people who have got a large quantity of PDF books and wish to grab images and pics out of them.
