windows 7

A few weeks ago I posted an article where you could find the links to download the new Windows 7 build 6801. That particular build, I would like to remember, was a pre-beta which needed a special freeware software to unlock  all of its features. Since then, things have moved forward pretty fast. As a matter of fact, a new Windows 7 version has come out. It is Windows 7 build 6956. Despite it is a pre-beta version as well, rumors say that it can be considered the real Beta 1 that will be officially released in the early 2009.

This new version has been built around the past build 6801 in order to overcome some issues and critical errors  during the installation process. So, you don’t have to be worried if, after finishing the installation, you  will see a watermark on the bottom right corner stating that what you are using is build 6801. Be assured. What you are using is build 6956 which, among the other thing, won’t need any unlocker to use all of its features.  So here is the link to install Windows 7 build version 6956.0.x86 fre.winmain. 081122-115:

Download Windows 7 build 6956. After the download is over (2,20 GB), burn the .iso image using your favorite burning software to a DVD.
