gmail pdfQuick news. Google just added to its famous Gmail a special “view” link which, from now on, will let you see PDF files sent as attachments along with your incoming e-mails. This means that you won’t need to use Adobe Reader anymore. This is quite wonderful to say the least, since I didn’t like to use Adobe Readers while I was on my Gmail. Somehow, during the last years, Adobe has managed to make this software bulky and a little too heavy if you ask me. Because of this, it was quite painful to wait for the slow Adobe Reader to open, read the PDF file and show it to you. Honestly, the whole process just took from 5 to 10 seconds, but in a world where everything is getting faster and faster even those 10 seconds were a pain in the butt to me! So, Goodbye Adobe Reader and Welcome Gmail “view”!
