web monitor

If you are a webmaster you can find this little freeware tool quite useful for your activity. Indeed even regular users can find this tool useful, above all if they want to stay up-to-date with the latest news a website or a blog offers on a daily basis. Are you worried that your blog may be offline due to a server failure? Do you want to know if anything is wrong with your website? Do you want to be the first to read an article or a press release as soon as it gets published?  Here is the reply to these questions.

Web Pages Monitor is a freeware utility which, as its name suggest, monitors the activity of a blog, website or even a page and lets you know if something has changed or if the server hosting the blog is down.  The free application runs in the background, it consumes little resources and it just warns you if something has changed or wrong with a website. Other features include:

  • It monitors file size, date and the real content of a website or a webpage.
  • It starts when you turn your PC on.
  • You can schedule the checks at set intervals.
  • Check the website right away and independently from your the schedule in one click.
  • It can monitor anything: html, asp, php, static and dynamical web pages. Text and binary files which can be accessed through the HTTP, HTTPS and FTP protocols.
