OK, I have to confess it to you. This is a really stupid trick. But you know what? I have decided to write about it because, despite it is very simple to use and quite famous, it may be totally unknown for its notoriety. Because of my blogging activity, there are certain times when after booting my Windows Vista I need to restore previously open folders. Now you understand pretty well that this is quite annoying, above all if you use the same folders every time you use your computer. Wouldn’t be easy and nice to find them already open and ready on your desktop once you logon? Well, if you think in the same way I do here is a really simple trick.
- Click Start.
- In the Search Bar, type Windows Explorer and hit Enter.
- Click Organize.
- Click Folder and Search options.
- Click the View tab.
- Under Advanced Settings, tick Restore previous folders windows on logon.
- Click OK.
- Done!
