windows 7As you know, the Quick Launch bar has been removed in Windows 7. Without it, it s not possible to use the “Show Desktop” shortcut icon which, in just one click, minimized all the open windows to show you the desktop right away. If you miss such a feature you have to know that it has not really disappeared. As a matter of fact…it has been moved to a less obvious location!

If you miss the “Show Desktop” option available in the obsolete Quick Launch bar, you have to know that it is before your very eyes. As a matter of fact, with your mouse go to the right bottom corner of your screen, next to the time and date. Are you there? Well, on the right side of  the date, there is a kind of rectangular portion. If you click on it you will be able to display the desktop right away. Enjoy!
