vistaIn the latest Microsoft operating systems namely Windows XP, Windows Server, Windows Vista and even in the newest Windows Seven if you right-click any file in your computer you will be able to see a menu containing, among the other things, a “Sent to” submenu. Such a submenu contains shortcuts to some of the most important applications and folders such as: Documents, mail recipient, Desktop, compressed folder, DVD drive etc. If you wish to modify, add, delete and remove these shorcuts, here is a nice trick to apply.

  1. Click Start.
  2. In Windows Vista and Seven, in the Search box type shell:sendto. Alternatively, if you have Windows XP type the same code in the Run command.
  3. The SendTo folder should appear in your desktop. At this point, if you want you can modify , add and delete the items inside this folder.
  4. Done!
