I still remember when a few days ago I spoke about a new Gmail feature called Offline Gmail which lets you use your Gmail account even though you don’t have an Internet connection at hand. This nice option is only available for your computer of course, isn’t it? Well, according to Vic Gundotra, VP of engineering at Google, soon you will be able to write e-mails and perform other nice things with your Gmail even in your iPhone and Android phone without the need of any Internet connection!
As a matter of fact, Vic Gundotra demonstrated a nice offline-capable webapp for the iPhone 3G which lets users use their phone even while the handset is in airplane mode. Here is the video!
