Shuttle XPC SX58H7Shuttle is not new at bare bones desktop computers. You may want to read my articles about Shuttle X2700N Nettop and Shuttle XPC SN78SH7 to know more. So I was not thrilled at all  when a few days ago the same computer company unveiled a new Shuttle bare bone XPC micro PC which, differently from the previous model boasts an hardware  more powerful and apt for games. Here are its specs.

  1. Intel X58 chipset with an ICH10R southbridge.
  2. 16GB of DDR3 RAM.
  3. Two SATA II hard drives.
  4. Two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots.

Shuttle XPC SX58H7 should be available in Europe around the end of Q1 2009 at about 483 Euros plus VAT. No word about an eventually release in the States
