By default, Windows Vista has the habit to put all your multimedia and personal files to the world-famous Documents folder. Such a folder is so well-known (even by hackers) that when a virus infects your computer the first thing it does is go to that folder to mess whatever it gets along its way. Let’s learn how to make things a little difficult for viruses and safer for us.
- Click Start.
- On the right side of the Start Menu, click on your account.
- Right-click on the folder (Documents) you want to move all your “belongings” from.
- Under the Location tab type the address of the folder you want to move your stuff.
- Click OK.
