If your computer is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 and you are encountering a lot of issues while using your favorite software and applications, here comes Microsoft to help you. As a matter of fact, a new hotfix has recently been released meant to solve application compatibility issue in the above-mentioned operating systems.

The hotfix KB967062 may solve your issue related to application incompatiblity issues, but behaware that on the other side it can create even more problems (only in Windows 7 beta!). As a matter of fact, as stated by microsoft itself, here is a brief list of issues you may get after the installation of this hotfix:

• Hard Block: The update puts a hard block on the application. A hard block prevents an application that is incompatible with Windows 7 Beta from running on the operating system.
• Soft Block: The update puts a soft block on the application. A soft block provides notification when an application that is incompatible with Windows 7 Beta starts to run.
• Update: The update improves the application’s functionality in Windows 7 Beta.
