What’s the difference between a Laptop and a Netbook? Honestly, after browsing in the Internet for about an hour in the vain attempt to find a reply, I am still clueless. One thing is for sure: the market is so overflowed with cheap ultraportables that computer companies have to invent new words to make their new, but quite ordinary laptops, look like something extraordinary.
That’s the case of the new Bing Netbook which, apart its company’s custom GreenMaraschino Linux operating system, looks exactly like any other cheap laptop. Here is a list of its most important features:
- 1.6GHz Atom N270 processor.
- 1GB of DDR2 RAM
- 160 GB of hard disk.
- 3 USB 2.0 ports.
- 802.11b/g WiFi
- a 0.3 megapixel webcam.
- a 1,024 x 600 screen resolution.
The laptop is already available and it costs $399.
