Onyx International has recently unveiled its new Boox e-reader meant to let you read those thousand e-books you keep stored in your computer. I am pretty happy of this new device because the market was missing a nice competitor of the well-known Kindle 2, e-Slick Reader, Sony PRS-700 Reader,  iRex etc. But let’s see together its specs.

Onyx International Boox e-reader most important features are:

• 6-inch e-ink touchscreen with 16 shades of gray.
• 512 MB of inner storage.
• Wi-fi support. (802.11g Wireless LAN)
• it is able to read the following formats: EPUB, PDF,  HTML,  TXT, CHM, MOBI,  JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF, TIFF, MP3
• Text to speech feature (!).
• USB Type A Connector For USB Memory Stick.
• Processor: 532 MHz.
• Ram: 128MB.
