xanhellx the default delay time is 400.
modify the reg file as “MouseHoverTime”=”400″ and double click it. Thats all (requires reboot though)

Sorry if I sound critical or a know it all when I comment. These are excellent tips and trick… in fact, they are so good I often swipe them for my web page. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I’ve been a technical writer for many years and I’ve gotten into the habit of making my comments as short and direct as possible. I’m often wrong. So try to just consider my comments as possible suggestion.

That doesn’t work… And I think I can tell you why… your example uses the custom right and left quotation marks…

the registry uses the generic standard ” style. After I edited the reg file and replaced the right and left quotation marks with ” and merged it that way…. the registry value for hovertime was modified.

“MouseHoverTime”=”0″ <– fails
"MouseHoverTime"="0" <– works

Also, I believe you have to reboot to actiavate the modification.
