If you own a nice Playstation Portable you should know pretty well how to chat with your friends thanks to Skype, which comes bundled with it. Anyway, if you wish to chat further, by using some wonderful homebrew, free application, here is what you were looking for.

AKIM (Away From the Keyboard Instant Messenger) is a homebrew application to chat with your friends. It support multiple protocol such as MSN, AIM and Yahoo Messenger and uses the PSP wi-fi to connect to the Internet.
