Windows 7I still remember when, a couple of days ago, I posted an article speaking about the latest Windows 7 Build 7048 x64 leaked version available for free download using Bittorent clients. Well, a week has not went by yet than another leaked version has been released in the wild! I am talking about Windows 7 Ultimate Build 7057 x86 DVD ISO which, thanks to some clues, makes us understand that it might be a Release Candidate (RC) version! Continue reading »

As a webmaster, one of the biggest worries of mine as far as my blog is concerned  is, without any doubt, its performance, namely the ability to be downloaded in any browser in almost no time (yes, I am a bit ambitious!). As a matter of fact, the more your website is accessible the more people will be able to see it, above all those ones who  have a slow Internet connection such as dial-up or ISDN connection (and believe me, there are a lot of them, more than you think!). There are a lot of techniques and open source, freeware software that can help you to achieve this result, just browse my Webmaster section to find out more. Anyway, what I didn’t know till yesterday, was that I could get amazing results just by using some nice piece of code to copy-and-paste directly in the .htaccess file located under the public_html folder. Windows 7As you know, Windows 7 taskbar also known as Superbar is a regular taskbar with some nice improvements and options. Read my previous articles about it to know what I am talking about. One of its most important feature is its ability to show  thumbnail previews of open  applications just by hovering the  mouse on their icons. If you want to accelerate and shorten the time  these thumbnails are displayed on the desktop, here is a nice, easy hack to apply. Continue reading »

youtube-cinemaRecently, YouTube has amazed us with a lot of news. As a matter of fact, you can watch YouTube videos in HD resolution, without speaking about the next, imminent release of full movies. With some many things to play with, wouldn’t be nice to have something which allows YouTube users to watch video in a cinema style? Continue reading »

remindr

If you have been reading  Web Talk for some time, you should know how its blogger (me) is quite inattentive. In fact I tend to forget almost everything. Passwords, birthdays (even my own birthday!), events, holidays, celebrations, my wedding date, and in some cases the name of some of my best friends (no kidding).  Some friend of mine says that I am like this cause I am a mad genius. I am more prone to call myself miserable! That’s why I surround myself with a lot of tech stuff reminding me of the most useless things. Recently, I came across  an interesting website which can help me remember everything in a couple of steps. Useless to say, it was love at first sight! Continue reading »
