When you create a document having .Doc extension by using Microsoft Office, without knowing you also create a small database containing your private information. As a matter of fact, along with ANY Word document the following information are also saved: Comments, Keywords, Subjects, your name and initials, your computer name, your hard disk name, previous author’s name etc. Useless to say, this information could be easily used by malicious people against you. Despite the fact that Gmail, Yahoo Mail and other important and well-known webmails have got excellent anti-spam filters, every now and then it may happen that some fake e-mail manages to prick the tight spam-net and reach your e-mail inbox.
