The Quick launch bar in Windows is that useful place where you can put shortcuts to those applications you use mostly on your computer. The procedure to add a new shortcut is quite easy. Just drag-and-drop an icon from the desktop to the Quick Launch bar and you are done. By default, the Quick Launch bar has got a “Show the Desktop” and a “Switch Between Windows” shortcut. I find the first shortcut very useful because, when my desktop is crammed with windows, it is sufficient to click it to make some order, minimizing all the windows to the taskbar.
