If you have got a Google Profile you might be interested in this new feature giving you the option to get a vanity URL. But, what is it exactly? Well, as you know Google Profile web address is not very easy to remember. In fact, it looks like this: www.google.com/profiles/1122334455. Obviously, that’s not the best solution if you are looking for some visibility in the Internet, without talking about the fact that it is quite difficult to remember. Google, very aware of this  little issue, has decided to let you choose and modify it  in something easier to see and remember. So, you could turn your Google Profile address  to something like this for example: www.google.com/profiles/Web_Talk. Keep in mind that, once you have modified the address you won’t be able to change it later, so be careful to pick the right name which fits and represents you and your needs in the best way! As a second option, Google gives you also the opportunity to change your profile address by using your Gmail username, in case you own one of it. There are literally tons of hacks, tricks and applications which let you download videos from YouTube. In fact you can read these articles of mine on how to download regular videos from YouTube by using a hack or just by using a free software. Anyway, with the release of High quality and HD footages (720 pixels x 1280 pixels), YouTube has enlarged its already-huge selection of videos, promising  to give you endless hours of fun. The downside of this new generations of clips, trailers, MTV videos etc.  is that, because  of their video resolution, they are contained in  big  files causing the video player to stop every now and then in order to download the rest of the video it is about to display.  Wouldn’t be nice to download them first, while you are doing other things on your computer, and watch them later without being interrupted every 15 seconds?  Here is the hack! About three months ago I spoke about the new Google operating system called gOS Cloud. No joke! If you don’t believe me and you want to look for yourself, here is the article. gOS Cloud is a fully developed operating system which “lives” in the Internet. As a matter of fact, it boots from your favorite browsers and contains almost all the most important tools you have on your Windows/Mac/Linux. Of course, all the documents you write there will be saved in some remote server on the other side of the world, with the side-option to save it locally. Web Talk is not new at free converters able to convert PDF to DOC or any other format to whatever you wish. In fact, you can read interesting articles on how to convert Docx to Rtf, pictures to PDF,  images to ICO, text to images. Well, believe me, I have written a lot of articles explaining you how to convert pratically everything! One of the biggest challenges I have to face daily, as far as my blog is concerned, is to reduce the amount of bandwidth it uses, as well as the number of slow queries it produces. This issue is all the more compelling since my blog is hosted on Bluehost servers. In fact, their strict policy doesn’t allow you to have more than a certain number of slow queries per day. As a consequence, once they find out that your blog is producing too much trouble for their server and those blogs hosted on it (don’t forget that, at the time I am writing, Bluehost hosts websites on shared servers), they will deactivate “your toy” right away! This happened to me some months ago and since then, believe me, I have constantly been  on a “quest for perfection” in order not to give any issue both to Bluehost and my co-tenants (other blogs hosted on the same sever as mine). If you work on your computer or even if you spend some time on it for leisure, you know pretty well how every now and then you need to use the Recycle Bin on the desktop to trash documents, files, pictures etc. The Recycle Bin application is quite useful and nobody argues about it. Anyway, a lot of people find such an icon quite bothering, above all if they don’t have a lot of space on the desktop and  wish to get more room for other, more important applications.
