mailbrowserbackup

Talking of backing up stuff is not a new topic at Web Talk. As a matter of fact , you may want to check these articles of mine speaking  about how to export and save your Firefox’s passwords, how to backup your profile in Google Chrome, how to backup your e-mail database and how to backup your Google account.  However, if you don’t like the idea of having different applications saving different things, here is a wonderful, freeware software which, in a couple of steps, will let you backup all your e-mails and your browser profiles!

MailBrowserBackup is a free, handy tool which takes care of your most important backups. As a matter of fact, thanks to it, you will be able to backup Internet Explorer**, Mozilla Firefox, Windows Mail**, Mozilla Thunderbird, IncrediMail**, Opera Browser**, Apple Safari**, Google Chrome, SRWare Iron, FileZilla FTP Client, eMule** profiles.. Here is alist of its most important features:

  • It is completely free and opensource (opensource – GNU GPL v2).
  • Mutitasking features thanks to which you will be able to backup and restore more profiles simultaneously.
  • It’s written in C#, so in the next release it will work on Linux too (Mono 2.0 required).

If you want to know more, visit the official website. If you want to download it, click here.

**  Not implement yet, but available in the next releases.
