If you are the administrator of a computer used by a lot vistaof  users you know only too well that one of the biggest issues which has to do with shared machines is the constant need for space. In fact, users tend to gather and heap large quantity of files such as: documents, Mp3, videos etc. with the result that sooner or later your computer’s hard disk will run-out of space. Let’s see how to limit the quantity of disk space users have at their disposal by enabling the Disk Quota Management.

  1. Click Start.
  2. In the Search Box, type Computer and press Enter.
  3. Right-click on the hard disk partition or hard disk you want to enable the Disk Quota Management.
  4. Click Propierties.
  5. Click the Quota tab.
  6. Tick the Enable Quota Management checkbox.
  7. Tick the Deny disk space to users exceeding quota limit checkbox.
  8. Now select Limit Disk Space to and decide what amount of disk space to assign to your users.
  9. Click OK.
