Recently, Systemax Inc. (NYSE:SYX – News) has acquired the Circuit City e-commerce business and has just launched an all-new Circuit City website. The new Circuit City website features new deals, low prices, great product and a 24/7 customer support. Systemax inc. acquired Circuit City for $14 millions and this big sum of money includes the website and the data of all existing Circuit City customers. This reminds me of the old TV game show “Who Do You Trust.” I wish them well, but can we expect to be hit with their “spam” if we don’t opt-out? Any chance for a mortar-and-brick store? That was posted 1 week ago by computertv, so it may be too late already?
