Internet Explorer 8 was released 0n March 19, 2009 for all major Microsoft operating systems with the exception of Windows 7 which already comes bundled with it.  Among its most important improvements I would like to remember its InPrivate mode also known as “Porn Mode” letting you surf the Internet and be sure that no fingerprints will be left on the computer you are using, Webslices, SmartScreen Filter to block phishing sites, CSS and JavaScript debugging directly from the browser, RSS enhancements, Suggested Sites list etc.  If you want to download and install Internet Explorer 8 you have  just to go to  Windows Update or Microsoft Update on your Microsoft operating system and look for new updates. If you like Trident Engine ,I suggest use the Avant browser. The download is relatively small, the interface is extremely stable, mouse gestures and dockable tabs. Pop-up and ad blocking are excellent. The
ability to block ActiveX, images, Java, and more “on the fly” is superb.

Well I think I don’t prefer IE as more users prefer Firefox now for the plugins but is IE more secured now than the last years? But for me Firefox the best to use and it really ups my web surfing.

I went to your link (Vista, 32 bit) and after the download, it wouldn’t install, with the message I had a later version already installed. I recently installed SP2, that might be the reason.
