I have already written about such a topic. You may want to read these article of mine on how to prioritize your emails in Gmail, how to recognize if an email is fake and Web of Trust for your Firefox. However, if you want to get rid of spam  in your Gmail dramatically, there is another method which is able to stop spam in your Gmail once for all. I am talking about the Language filter in Gmail which is able to filter your incoming emails on the base of their language.

In fact, if you get an email written in a foreign language, chances are that it is spam. Thanks to this filter, which you can tweak for your needs, you will be able to get rid of spam before you can actually read it. Here is what you have to do:

1. Log-in your Gmail.
2. Click Settings link located in the right upper corner of your screen.
3. Now, click Filters and right after that, at the end of the filter page, click Create a new filter.
4. Copy and paste the following search operator codes in the “Has the Words” text field. Please, before doing that, remove the code languages you  use to read your emails :

5. Now, click the Next Step button.
6. Select “Skip Inbox” (Archive It) and create a new label marked “Foreign Language Spam”.
7. At this point your Gmail is ready to catch all those email written in a foreign language you do not understand which probability contain spam!
